This gel polish remover is acetone diluted with water which creates a less harsh solution for the skin. It still removes gel via the soak off method but you run less risk irritation if it gets around your skin. I do personally think straight acetone works best, but this is a good value large product to keep handy. I pour into a small bottle for application and keep the large bottle stored in a cool environment.
