I love these things but only for my toes. I don’t use them for my finger nails bc they only last like a week or two( if you don’t work with your hands a lot like I do as a waitress) but I smartly get two uses per package. The strips are long enough to use for two toe nails why waste it?To summarize, great for toenails!I'm a fan of Sally Hansen products. I never tried their nail polish strips so I decided to give Black to Basics a try. They were easy to apply, they have enough shapes to match my nails and the design is really cute. My main issue was that the lifted texture of the design kept getting snagged on my blanket and my fingertips felt like serrated edges. I found that quite annoying. If you can find a way to smooth the edges after you file off the excess strip then I say go for it. Otherwise, cute design, ready to apply, the price is good.I can't say enough about Sally Hansen nail strips (and Incoco nail strips)! Finally, I can have painted nails! My nails are thin and any nail polish I used chipped within two days - sometimes they chipped in less than one day. I bought these based on the reviews and I had very low expectations, I think because what works for most people's nails usually doesn't work for me.Honestly, the first trial didn't go well. They chipped almost immediately around the edges, but it wasn't terribly noticeable because of the pattern. The rest of the polish stayed on nicely. The second trial was much better- I learned how to smooth the edges better so no chips. After 7 applications, I thought I'd write a review - it's FOR REAL!!!WHAT I LIKE:*Nails last at least 7 days (they probably last longer, but I have to keep my nails very short for my sport, so I have to change nail polish once a week)*The patterns make my short nails look feminine*They are instantly dry - no waking up in the morning with smudges!!!*They are affordable - I get TWO applications from each box because my nails are shortTHE DOWNSIDE:*Taking the nail polish off is a process - have plenty of nail polish remover on hand and patience, too.*Putting the nail strips on takes longer than painting nails. (If you count dry-time the strips are faster than regular polish, but the application time is longer.)SALLY HANSEN VS. INCOCO*Sally Hansen's strips come in TWO separate pouches, so I can have two applications. Incoco's strips come in one pouch that can be resealed. Sometimes the second set can dry out and not work.*Sally Hansen's strips are often available on Prime so you can get them faster (and cheaper) than Incoco's strips*Incoco's big advantage is tasteful designs. Some are just gorgeous. I'm a 40+ woman and am not interested in skulls and tattoo art on my fingers. Most of Sally Hansen's patterns are targeted at teens. Incoco's designs are beautiful and more appropriate for women.TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION*Make sure the room is WARM. I turn on a space heater.*Once you have the polish in place, smooth it down well with your fingers.*Make sure to smooth the tips well - any rough edges will "catch" on fabric and chip*Apply a clear top coat within 24 hours.*Apply a second top coat after 3 or 4 days.I probably had expectations too high because I love the Sally Hansen brand of polish. These wraps were a letdown.1. I tried another brand that was much easier to apply, thicker, and more durable-feeling than these. What I hated:2. These are so thin that I actually ripped one while peeling away from the backing. These just feel super flimsy and cheap.3.This particular design is much whiter/brighter than I thought. It's not just my dark skin because my lighter friend tried one and... It looks like I am wearing liquid paper on my nails.4. The application is very awkward and not that user-friendly. Everything is so thin that peeling the wraps was easy to mess up.5. Unlike with another brand I tried, I could not apply a clear coat to this. The dark print smeared when I tried to so I had to paint completely over to cover the mess. So... cheap? What I did like:1. Choosing the design was my fault. If not for the color, the script design would be really cute.2. The kit well-packaged & had everything needed for the application.3. The wraps lay nicely once they are applied. They are very smooth & do look as if painted onto the nail4. I do think these will last just for the fact that they apply to flat.I wish I had tried another design. Even though I won't buy this brand again (I have ordered more of the Diva gel manicure wraps instead!), I really wanted to like these. So, overall, these felt cheap and the color ran under clear polish. If I had tried this brand first, I might not ever have tried any more wraps.I've only given a 2 star as I really didn't like the sticker polish. I followed all instructions perfectly, but by the next evening I had to remove the polish as it had flaked and chipped. I was really disappointed as it not cheap for only application! But I guess it would look great for a special occasion. I will not be buying this product again. When these arrived, they were not as pictured. The ones I recieved were pink but still had the same name. I contacted the seller and they sorted the problem out. I have since used the product and it is reasonably easy to use - I just need more practise! Will be ordering more from my Wishlist soon!Product as shown nd fast servicewhen recoeved they did not stick atallGood
